Stichting Spectrum is a non-profit foundation based in the Netherlands that promotes autism awareness and supports inclusive employment by funding initiatives and businesses that create job opportunities for autistic individuals and people with other special needs.

Our mission is threefold:
To raise public awareness about employment challenegs facing the neurodiverse community.
To support employment opportunities for the neurodiverse and individuals with special needs
To subsidise and collaborate with other non-profits and social enterprises that share these goals

Employment offers financial independence, social integration, and a sense of purpose. Unfortunately, autistic individuals face disproportionately high unemployment rates. Stichting Spectrum exists to help change that.

We support a wide range of employment opportunities—from brewing and hospitality to digital and creative roles—especially those adapted to individual strengths and sensory needs.

We work directly with employers to encourage inclusive practices such as structured tasks, quiet workspaces, flexible schedules, and clear communication. Many supported workplaces are run by or for neurodiverse teams.

Donations fund job creation, workplace adaptation, training, and grants to social enterprises that hire autistic or special needs employees. We also use funds for public awareness campaigns.

Yes. You can indicate if you'd like your donation to support specific programs such as employment grants, autism awareness campaigns, or a particular initiative like Spectrum Bier.

No, Stichting Spectrum is a registered non-profit in the Netherlands but does not yet have ANBI status (charitable deduction status). We intend to acquire ANBI status but this would only apply to Dutch tax payers.

Spectrum Bier is a craft beer label created as a social enterprise to provide real jobs for autistic adults. All profits go back into the foundation’s mission.

Absolutely! We welcome partnerships with businesses, schools, municipalities, and non-profits. Whether it’s through employment, sponsorship, co-branded initiatives, we’re open to collaboration.
